About The Position

This product manager role will be a key member of the asset management legal team and provide legal support to our attorneys and business partners across a diverse range of private investment vehicles and fund structures. You’ll assist in the fund of fund investment transactional process and support the formation, organization and ongoing updates of private funds. You will be part of a legal team within Fidelity’s in-house legal department, directly responsible for supporting our investment process into third party funds (including review of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other legal documentation, completion of subscription agreements, AML documentation etc.). You will also assist attorneys with annual review and update of private fund offering documents including PPMs, LPAs and Sub Docs. Understanding of fund formation documents (PPM & LPAs), subscription agreements and the KYC/AML process is an essential part of this role. This role will support the broader Legal & Compliance team on general matters impacting the Alternative Investment Funds team. You will play a vital role in contributing to the legal work necessary to support the Asset Management Group. You will be a critical ingredient to the highly valued legal guidance provided by the lawyers dedicated to the Asset Management Group. Requirements

  • BA or BS degree; paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience within a corporate legal department, law firm or financial services environment.
  • Experience with alternative investment products and private markets is required.
  • Familiarity with the offering documents of private funds (PPM, LPA, Sub Docs, NDAs) is a must.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Ability to work efficiently, under pressure, with varying degrees of supervision.
  • Ability to lead and direct projects with competing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Must thrive in a team environment with a demonstrated ability to coordinate across business functions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with great attention to detail, organization and time management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional judgment, problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
