About The Position

We are seeking a Product Manager, Legal to join the Legal Product & Ops team at Versant. This role is responsible for driving the strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology solutions that support legal, compliance, and business operations. You will partner closely with legal, business, and engineering teams to define product vision, streamline workflows, and deliver scalable, user-centric solutions that align with regulatory and operational needs. This role requires a strategic and execution-focused product leader with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate complex legal and business requirements into impactful product outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in enterprise software products or related roles SaaS environments
  • Strong experience in roadmap ownership, prioritization, and stakeholder management
  • Proven ability to translate legal, compliance, and business requirements into scalable product solutions
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, business, and legal stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ERP systems)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience with Legal Technology, Compliance Systems, or Governance Platforms
  • Understanding of domains such as entity management, contract lifecycle management, or regulatory compliance
  • Experience with data analysis, reporting, or BI tools
  • Knowledge of APIs or scripting (e.g., Python)
  • Strong ability to learn new domains, operate in complex and regulated environments

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities, user needs, and compliance considerations
  • Translate legal, regulatory, and business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (legal, engineering, business, and vendors) to deliver product enhancements and system integrations
  • Drive prioritization, backlog management, and release planning to maximize business impact
  • Monitor product performance, user adoption, and key success metrics
  • Identify and resolve system gaps, inefficiencies, and production issues
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery of third-party solutions
  • Lead change management efforts, including system updates, testing, and user enablement
  • Ensure clear communication and alignment across stakeholders
  • Continuously improve products based on user feedback, data insights, and evolving regulatory requirements
