Legal Firm Intake Specialist - Part Time
About The Position
Cohen Law Group is a first-party property insurance litigation firm focused on exceptional client service and results. The Client Intake Specialist supports incoming and new clients in a phone-heavy role. The position involves handling a high volume of calls, gathering preliminary case information, explaining the firm’s services, assisting with initial case documentation, and helping clients progress through the initial engagement process. The specialist also connects clients with attorneys and supports attorneys during initial case reviews, while carrying out administrative tasks such as document drafting, calendaring, scheduling, research, and file management. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
Requirements
- Experience in phone sales.
- Confidence, friendliness, and persuasiveness over the phone.
- Attention to detail and a service-oriented disposition.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for teamwork, client service, and the pursuit of justice.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and File Vine.
- Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of calls to and from clients.

- Promptly assist and facilitate clients’ completion of initial case documentation.
- Connect clients directly with attorneys and support attorneys during initial case review.
- Close the initial client engagement process quickly and effectively so cases can move forward to the next stage.
- Perform document drafting, calendaring, scheduling, research, and file management efficiently and accurately.
