About The Position

This is a senior, client-facing role at a global legal technology business focused on AI innovation. The Legal Engineer works with leading law firms to rethink traditional processes and implement AI-powered solutions. Acting as a trusted adviser to senior legal stakeholders, the role combines legal practice knowledge with technology to design, develop, and implement tailored workflows that deliver business value. The position also contributes client insights and practical legal experience to future product development.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD).
At least 2 years of recent experience working in a law firm with more than 50 attorneys, ideally in Litigation or Corporate Law.
Strong understanding of law firm operations, including legal workflows, service delivery, and the challenges practising lawyers face.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior lawyers and law firm leadership.
Genuine interest in AI, legal technology, and improving legal service delivery.
Ability to translate complex legal and technical concepts into practical solutions and clear business benefits.
Proactive, consultative approach, with commercial awareness and credibility to serve as a trusted adviser.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, configuration, and implementation of bespoke AI-powered workflows and vault templates for major law firm clients.
Partner with law firm stakeholders to understand existing processes, identify challenges, and develop practical technology-driven solutions.
Build relationships with partners, practice leaders, lawyers, and knowledge management teams to encourage adoption and continued use of new solutions.
Support product demonstrations, proof-of-concept initiatives, and pilot programmes to show how AI can improve day-to-day legal work.
Share client insights and feedback with product, engineering, and UX teams to inform future product enhancements.
Develop resources, guidance, and best practices to help clients get the most value from their AI investments.
