About The Position

CNA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal & Compliance Analyst to support legal, regulatory, compliance, contract management, and litigation-related activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across legal and business teams, managing important documentation, conducting research, coordinating projects, and helping the organization meet regulatory and operational requirements. The successful candidate will work under the direction of licensed counsel and partner with internal stakeholders, outside counsel, vendors, and business leaders to support contracts, regulatory research, governance matters, complaints, subpoenas, pre-litigation matters, and other legal and compliance initiatives. This role is based in Scottsdale, Arizona and follows a hybrid schedule, with four days in the office and one day remote each week.

Requirements

  • Associate degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in a paralegal, legal assistant, compliance, contract management, corporate governance, regulatory, or litigation support role
  • Strong research, drafting, proofreading, organization, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage confidential information with sound judgment, discretion, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with attorneys, executives, regulators, vendors, and business partners
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience with legal matter management, contract management, document management, or compliance tracking systems preferred
  • Experience in the F&I, service contract, insurance, or regulated financial services industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal, regulatory, compliance, contract management, and litigation support under attorney supervision.
  • Draft, review, revise, route, and maintain contracts, agreements, policies, procedures, correspondence, disclosures, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research and summarize findings for attorneys and business partners.
  • Track contract status, key dates, obligations, approvals, filings, and related documentation.
  • Assist with consumer complaints, demand letters, subpoenas, investigations, pre-litigation matters, discovery, and outside counsel coordination.
  • Support corporate governance, compliance, licensing, records management, policies, procedures, and special projects.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential legal and compliance files, trackers, databases, and matter records.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for executives, regulators, attorneys, outside counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
