Requirements

1 to 3 years of Legal Assistant experience, ideally within foreclosure, real estate, or default servicing law.
Exceptional attention to detail and elite organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work independently as well as on a team.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the end-to-end foreclosure sale process.
A Paralegal Certificate, Associate Degree, or related legal education.

Responsibilities

Manage vital milestones in the sales process, ensuring accuracy and strict adherence to timelines.
Prepare, review, and file foreclosure sale documents, notices, bidding instructions, and sale confirmations.
Coordinate closely with courts, sheriffs, master commissioners, auctioneers, vendors, and external clients.
Monitor fast-moving foreclosure sale timelines to ensure every legal requirement is met on schedule.
Conduct bankruptcy checks, military status verifications, and property-specific research (including legal descriptions, tax records, and liens).
Handle all post-sale activities, such as deed preparation, surplus fund processing, and confirmation filings.
Keep the firm’s case management system and client portals meticulously updated, while providing administrative and e-filing support to attorneys.
