About The Position

The Legal Administrative Advisor will be responsible for NLCU’s estates administration, small claims’ administration and commercial credit communications. In accordance to applicable legislation and NLCU’s policies and procedures the successful candidate will review and determine estate requirements, provide support to NLCU branches on estate related topics, including Powers of Attorney, and liaise with other estate representatives, as required. The Legal Administrative Advisor will oversee property foreclosures and NLCU’s small claims process. In addition, they will also support NLCU's Business Advisors and the branch network by drafting offer letters to business members following credit approval decisions.

  • Completion of a Paralegal studies program.
  • Leadership qualities.

  • Problem solving skills and techniques.
  • Communication skills.
