About The Position

The Department of Music and Theatre at California State University Bakersfield accepts applications on an ongoing basis for its pool of part-time lecturers for the music and theatre programs. These applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across the campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool are valid only for the current academic year and will close effective May 31st. To be considered for the next academic year, a new application must be submitted by June 15th.
