The School of Professional Education and Community Engagement is a dynamic and rapidly growing unit focused on expanding access to high impact, workforce aligned programs that elevate careers and empower communities. Building on strong enrollment growth and increasing demand for flexible, adult focused learning pathways, the Leadership Studies programs are positioned as a central driver of innovation in competency based education, prior learning assessment, and community partnership development. This role supports the continued expansion of these initiatives, with opportunities to shape curriculum, strengthen regional partnerships, and contribute to the strategic growth of S-PECE and the university. The School of Professional Education and Community Engagement invites applications for a Lecturer - Leadership Studies. The successful candidate will teach five (5) courses in each fall and spring semester across leadership programs. This is a non-tenure track position. Lecturer-rank faculty do not have research requirements but will be required to attend faculty meetings, participate in program assessment and curriculum review, and collaborate with faculty and staff within S-PECE and throughout campus. This is a 9-month position covering Fall and Spring semesters during the academic year. Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required at the time of hire. No pre-employment sponsorship is authorized for this position.
