About The Position

The Department of Management and Marketing at Prairie View A&M University is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching five sections of undergraduate management and business communication courses each semester. Some courses will be delivered online, while others will be face-to-face. The salary will be commensurate with the candidate's education and experience, in accordance with the University's compensation structure and the assigned salary range for this position.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business or related field.
• Three years of full-time service as a Lecturer II or faculty equivalent experience at a college or university.
• Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the college level.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with online teaching.

Nice To Haves

• Terminal degree in Business or related field.
• Evidence of research publications will be highly desirable.
• Candidates willingness to engage in scholarly research are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Teaching the assigned classes every semester.
• Service to the Department such as serving on committees, participating in the life of the college.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Head.
