About The Position
The Department of Chemical Engineering in the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE) at the University of Florida is seeking applications for a full-time, nine-month, non-tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Master Lecturer (working title Assistant/Associate/Full Instructional Professor) in Chemical Engineering. The department is looking for candidates passionate about teaching, mentoring, and preparing students for professional success in Chemical Engineering. The department offers an ABET-accredited undergraduate degree program and emphasizes instruction that connects engineering fundamentals with modern industrial practice, professional problem solving, and workplace readiness. Requirements
- PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field

Responsibilities
- Teaching required and/or elective undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Chemical Engineering
- Developing instructional materials and course content
- Mentoring and advising students
- Participating in curriculum development and assessment activities
- Collaborating with faculty and staff to strengthen the undergraduate and master’s educational experience
