About The Position

This is a temporary, part-time, non-tenure track lecturer position in Agricultural Business for the Academic Year 2026-2027. The position is contingent upon course offerings, student enrollment, position clearance, and funding availability. The lecturer must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics
  • Experience teaching college students in subject matter.

  • PhD in the appropriate field
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student population.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned courses in the appropriate discipline, including AGBU 320 Agribusiness Management and other related courses (lecture and/or lab).
  • Prepare course schedule, syllabus, and reports related to teaching and student progress.
  • Work under the supervision of the discipline chairperson.
  • Maintain a minimum of one office hour per week for each course taught.
  • Commitment to principles of higher education and philosophy is essential.
  • Possible evening, weekend, and off-campus assignments, and also distance learning assignments for courses taught via the Internet.
  • Other related tasks and/or duties as assigned.
