About The Position

The Fine Arts Department at Saint Anselm College is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach undergraduate dance courses, focusing on Jazz and Contemporary techniques. This role involves contributing to a student-centered learning environment within a new and growing Dance Program. The program aims to foster creativity, confidence, and critical thinking through movement, offering students diverse styles, professional-level training, and performance opportunities within a liberal arts context. The ideal candidate will possess both technical expertise and a strong pedagogical approach for developing college-level dancers, and should be passionate about teaching, mentorship, and contributing to a dynamic collegiate dance environment.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s in Dance or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in multiple dance styles, including Jazz and Contemporary is required.

Nice To Haves

• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
• Applicants with experience as teachers at the pre-professional, or studio level preferred.
