About The Position

Sealy Management Company, with over 70 years of experience, is seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Leasing Professional to join the founding team at The Laurel at Calera in Calera, Alabama. This unique opportunity begins before the community's Fall 2026 Grand Opening, offering the chance to be part of launching a new luxury apartment community from the ground up. As a founding team member, you will welcome the first prospects and residents, help build occupancy, develop local partnerships, participate in marketing and outreach, and establish the community's customer service experience. The Leasing Professional is the first impression of the community, responsible for exceptional customer service, generating leases, assisting residents, and supporting the Community Manager in achieving occupancy and retention goals.

Requirements

Previous apartment leasing or customer service experience preferred.
Strong sales and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Weekend availability as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

Greet prospective residents with professionalism and enthusiasm.
Conduct engaging property tours that showcase the community's features and lifestyle.
Follow up with prospects to convert leads into leases.
Process rental applications and lease documents accurately.
Assist with resident move-ins, renewals, and resident events.
Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and online inquiries.
Maintain knowledge of pricing, availability, and market conditions.
Support community marketing efforts and outreach initiatives.
Maintain a clean, welcoming leasing office and model apartment.
Deliver exceptional customer service to current and future residents.
