The Leasing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all vacant units are filled with eligible applicants from the waiting list according to preference, date, and time, in sequence order. The vacant units must be in compliance with LIHTC, HOME, NSP, LIPH, PBRA Multifamily housing program rules and regulations when filling units. This position reports directly to the Manager of Compliance. The role requires reviewing and monitoring changes in wait lists daily, preparing eligible applicants for upcoming vacant units, determining if applicants meet program requirements, and scheduling unit viewings and leasing. The coordinator will also complete move-ins, interim and re-certifications, purge waitlists, generate selections from the waitlist based on the Tenant Selection Plan and ACOP, provide recommendations regarding Record Retention policy, and maintain status reports. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Additionally, the position requires obtaining certification in Multi-Family Housing and attending required OHFA compliance training within one year of hire.
