About The Position

Smartland manages over 1,500 units across a growing portfolio, and this role will be responsible for 300 of them. The Leasing Consultant will be the first impression for prospects, helping them find a home by listening, following up, and remembering their needs. This position offers the opportunity to learn property management from the ground up, with a clear growth path within 12 to 24 months. It is a full-time, on-site position with professional environment and high standards.

Requirements

2 to 10 years in any role where people depended on you and you delivered (e.g., leasing, hospitality, customer service, retail management, real estate)
Ability to present yourself with care and carry yourself accordingly
Quick on your feet, able to think clearly under pressure
Organized
Warm, but not a pushover; able to handle tough conversations without losing the relationship
Desire to grow in a role that offers development

Responsibilities

Be the first impression for every prospect who walks through the door and make it count
Own your 300 units
Run tours that help people find a home, not just fill a unit
Follow up reliably
Keep your notes tight, your CRM current, and your process clean
Build relationships with current residents that make them want to stay
Manage the full leasing process from first inquiry through signed lease and move-in
