The Retreat Apartments in Nixa, MO is seeking a high-energy, people-loving Leasing Consultant to help launch a brand-new apartment community. This full-time role involves leasing, building buzz, creating first impressions, meeting new people, hosting events, and turning prospects into happy residents. The ideal candidate thrives on closing deals and creating an unforgettable experience.

Requirements

• A natural salesperson with confidence and charisma
• Strong communication skills-you know how to connect and persuade
• High energy, self-motivation, and a goal-driven mindset
• Ability to juggle multiple prospects and priorities without missing a beat
• Weekend availability (Tuesday–Saturday schedule)

Nice To Haves

• Leasing or sales experience is a plus-but attitude and drive matter more.

Responsibilities

• Tour prospects and turn "just looking" into "where do I sign?"
• Follow up, overcome objections, and confidently close leases
• Stay on top of availability, pricing, and specials to maximize occupancy
• Plan and host fun, engaging resident events
• Help build a strong sense of community
• Be the face of The Retreat-welcoming, upbeat, and memorable
• Execute outreach marketing to local businesses, employers, and community partners
• Build relationships that drive traffic and referrals
• Think outside the box to generate leads and keep traffic flowing
• Respond quickly to calls, emails, and online leads
• Keep prospects engaged from first contact to move-in day
• Maintain organized guest cards and CRM tracking
