Leasing Consultant (Lease-Up)
About The Position
GCI Residential is hiring a Leasing Consultant for Blu Aventura, a brand-new lease-up community in Aventura, Florida. The role is responsible for achieving leasing goals, building professional relationships with prospective and current residents, and helping prospective residents find an apartment home through a strong commitment to customer service and resident satisfaction. The Leasing Consultant manages the sales process from initial inquiry through closing, learns prospective residents’ needs, presents the community’s pricing, floor plans, amenities, and other offerings, follows up with leads, supports outreach marketing and resident events, and prepares lease agreements and maintains records using online tools and systems.
Requirements
- Strong customer focus.
- Previous sales experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Problem-solving skills and self-motivation.
- Ability to work weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Manage the sales process from start to finish, identifying prospective residents’ needs and addressing them to close the sale.
- Explain pricing, floor plans, amenities, and other community offerings during prospect tours.
- Follow up on phone and internet inquiries from prospects and leads.
- Assist with outreach marketing and the planning of resident events and functions.
- Prepare lease agreements and maintain records using online tools and systems.
- Work toward leasing goals and build professional relationships with prospective and current residents.
