About The Position

Haverkamp Properties, a 30-year-old family business, is seeking a Leasing Consultant for student properties. This role requires providing outstanding customer service, assisting with pre-leasing, solving problems, leasing apartments, and supporting team members. Success in this role is driven by lead generation, lead conversion, and customer fulfillment. The company trains its team for success and emphasizes accountability for hitting specific numbers, including weekly pre-leasing goals with a greater than 95% occupancy end goal, a renewal retention rate of greater than 35%, and maintaining a property delinquency rate of less than 1.5% per month. Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by staying connected with qualified leads
  • Assist with pre-leasing, including communication with current and future residents, participating in promotional events, and working with the Community Manager to relate rightly with the local college
  • Solve problems by overcoming objections
  • Lease apartments and use the tools and resources available to close the sale
  • Support other team members by assisting them as needed
