About The Position

As a Leasing Consultant for a student housing community in Newark, DE, you will be the first point of contact for current and prospective residents, assisting students and their families in finding a place to call home. This role supports leasing and pre-leasing efforts, involves conducting engaging tours, following up with prospects, and converting interest into signed leases. You will collaborate with the property management team to increase occupancy, enhance resident satisfaction, and foster a dynamic student living environment.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or hospitality
• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Student housing or University of Delaware market familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property tours and showcase available units
• Build relationships with students, parents, and guarantors
• Follow up with leads and close leases to meet occupancy goals
• Assist with renewals, move-ins, and move-outs
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve resident concerns
• Complete leasing paperwork accurately and in compliance with Fair Housing laws
• Support marketing, events, and community outreach
