The Leasing Community Intern delivers high-quality customer service to residents and prospective residents, collaborates with the community team, and supports the goal of full occupancy through resident retention, leasing available apartments, and pre-leasing future availability. The role includes front-desk and administrative work, leasing and lease-file tasks, community events and projects, and required training. Interns are scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week and must be available evenings and weekends, including on-call duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds. The position is temporary and non-exempt, with hourly compensation and bonus eligibility. Interns work inside and outside apartment buildings and throughout the property, including amenities, with frequent exposure to outdoor conditions that may be unpleasant or hazardous. Duties require physical access to all areas of the property and the ability to work in all weather. Rare local travel may be required to assist other properties or attend training. Community Interns must re-apply annually; previous employment does not guarantee rehire.
