About The Position

As a Leasing Consultant, you’re the friendly face and trusted guide for every potential resident, walking them through the exciting journey of finding their perfect home. From the first "Hello!" to the day they pick up their keys, you’ll be there—greeting, touring, answering questions, and making move-in day a breeze. You will be responsible for greeting and assisting future residents in finding the right apartment home, showing beautiful, move-in-ready apartments with enthusiasm and charm, building trust and rapport with current residents to create a welcoming community, working closely with your team to hit leasing goals while keeping customer service top-notch, and helping current residents renew their leases.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales is required.
• Treats all current and future residents with the highest level of concern and care; demonstrates a natural disposition towards personal and public safety; operates from a place of integrity, honesty, and ethics.
• Able and willing to maintain regular attendance and punctuality to ensure all essential duties are fulfilled.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write and speak clearly and free of typos or grammatical mistakes.
• Treats everyone with respect and dignity, accepts responsibility and takes ownership of tasks, follows through on commitments, takes initiative and maintains confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet goals and deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Must work on the heaviest traffic days of the week, including Fridays and Saturdays weekly (and Sundays on an as-needed basis) and Holidays during peak business hours, including at least one closing shift weekly.
• Able to move about the property to perform assigned tasks and responsibilities, including sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, and climbing stairs to perform functions in various weather conditions and variable climates.

Nice To Haves

• An undergraduate degree is preferred.
• Natural disposition for sales and understanding of sales techniques and processes.
