About The Position

The Leasing Agent for Targa Real Estate Services’ Single-Family Division is responsible for marketing, showing, and leasing our portfolio of assets throughout the Stadium District in Tacoma, WA. This role is based at one of our Stadium District properties but requires regular travel to other properties to meet prospective tenants, conduct showings, and support a positive leasing experience.

Requirements

  • Reliable vehicle and ability to travel daily throughout the Stadium District area.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization across a dispersed portfolio.
  • Comfortable working independently in the field while staying connected to the corporate team.
  • 1-2 years of experience in leasing, real estate, customer service, or property management

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in RealPage and Knock are a plus but not required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to leasing inquiries and schedule showings.
  • Conduct property tours with prospective tenants and highlight key features of each home.
  • Prepare and post accurate online listings, ensuring photos and descriptions are current.
  • Track and report leasing activity, traffic, and market trends.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospective tenants and communicate clearly throughout the application and screening process.
  • Process rental applications, verify documentation, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure compliance with Targa’s leasing criteria.
  • Deliver application decisions and assist with next steps, including lease signing and move-in coordination.
  • Notices drafted and posted to physical doors to ensure tenants are in lease compliance.
  • Internal occupied inspections as needed.
  • Ensure homes are “show ready” by coordinating with maintenance and vendors for cleaning, repairs, and turnover work.
  • Perform periodic property checks to confirm condition and presentation standards.
  • Report any concerns or needed improvements to the property management team.
