About The Position

The Lease Consultant manages the customer experience at the end of a lease by consulting on available options and eligible products and services, capturing customer intent, and guiding customers through the process in coordination with internal and external partners. The role delivers end-of-lease results by selling financial products and services, quoting options, determining eligibility, and following compliance requirements, policies, and procedures. The position is based onsite at Caterpillar’s Nashville main office five days per week.

Requirements

A degree or equivalent experience is desired.
Working knowledge of customer service, including responding to requests, resolving common problems, and documenting complaints.
Working knowledge of accuracy and attention to detail, including checking work and processing detailed information accurately.
Working knowledge of effective communications, including listening, writing, and communicating clearly.
Working knowledge of negotiation and relationship management, including constructive collaboration with clients, vendors, and peers.
Working knowledge of equipment financing and leasing processes, procedures, risks, and stakeholders.
Basic understanding of core application systems and products and services.

Responsibilities

Manage customer contact at the end of a lease through the end-of-lease decision, determine customer needs, and consult on available options.
Deliver strategic end-of-lease results by selling financial products and services using the company’s value message.
Quote product and service options, determine customer eligibility, and comply with applicable policies and procedures.
Collaborate with internal and external business partners to resolve customer requests and challenges and provide high-quality service.
