About The Position

This position handles all functions and activities necessary to maintain and grow the company’s real estate portfolio of leased and owned properties. Responsibilities include finding sites for new leases/billboard sign locations and maintaining existing leases while working with state and local agencies for zoning purposes. Travel across Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent) is required
• 1-3 years of commercial real estate, site acquisition or property/lease management experience
• Knowledge of commercial real estate (leasing, brokerage, site selection)
• Land acquisition or site development
• Property or lease management
• Familiarity with zoning laws & permitting
• Familiarity with lease negotiation
• Familiarity with government processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows operating systems
• Familiarity with internet browsers
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook
• Working knowledge of Google Earth
• Strong attention to detail
• Great organizational skills
• Good communications skills
• Willingness to travel, including overnight trips as needed
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Skilled at managing a high volume of emails efficiently
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

• A bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration, or Marketing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify new lease sites and negotiate leases
• Negotiate renewal leases for existing sites
• Read and interpret ordinances and state regulations
• Apply for permits at the local and state level
• Attend zoning board or city council meetings as needed
• Assist with acquisitions as needed
