About The Position

The Lease Administrator is a new role that will play a key role in ensuring lease accuracy, identifying cost-savings opportunities and supporting operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Legal Administration, or a related discipline (College minimum; University preferred).
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in retail tenant lease administration role.
  • Experience conducting lease audits or recover reviews.
  • Strong lease interpretation skills.
  • Excellent math skills and knowledge of basic accounting processes.
  • Self-Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct desktop audits of landlord billings, recoveries and supporting documentation to identify discrepancies, errors, overcharges and cost-savings opportunities.
  • Review and interpret lease clauses related to recoverable expenses, exclusions, caps and escalation provisions to ensure billing compliance.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliations variances with the landlords, property managers and internal stakeholders.
  • Track, manage, and recover any adjustments, credits and disputed charges.
  • Maintain an accurate monthly rent roll, including timely processing of audited invoices and vendor updates within ProLease database.
  • Monitor the Lease Administration - general inbox, coordinating and prioritizing inquiries and requests to appropriate team members in a timely manner.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd.
