About The Position

Under the general direction of the Leasing and Community Manager, Haynes Development is seeking a PART TIME individual as a Leasing Agent (Sales) with drive, passion, and energy to change people’s lives! Assists in the leasing of an amazing 162-Unit luxury apartment complex within a newly developed commercial complex at Quarry Walk. A unique and stunning “town within a town” where all the daily needs of residents are steps away. The Lease Administrator will be responsible for all phases of lease files, including reviewing and monitoring leases prior to execution and throughout the lease term, monitoring critical lease duties, calculating rental escalations and initiating appropriate action in the event of tenant defaults. Maintains electronic files in APPFOLIO, performs continual lease audits, works with property management to ensure lease compliance, manages security deposits, works with accounting and property management on operating expense reconciliations, rent billings and reviews and audits monthly financial information.

Requirements

  • Bookkeeping Experience or equivalent
  • Detail oriented, analytical and computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Organized with ability to execute while keeping track of priorities and maintaining big picture focus
  • A proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
  • Superior communications skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Inquiries- calls, emails – following up and setting up tours
  • Conduct tours. Must have a strong leasing background.
  • Knowing square footage, pricing, time frame, etc. and being able to know those facts without looking.
  • Giving a 5 star experience to each tour/prospect and also resident.
  • Move in bags and day of concierge with new residents
  • Drafting move in letters
  • Market Analysis each month
  • Communication with residents – timely and appropriate , general information, house rules, etc.
  • Ensure AppFolio is correct – pricing, time frame, vacant units and amenity fees
  • Making sure the community room is cleaned at all times; packages put away including taking care of package room, walking property.
  • Making sure signage is appropriate and effective
  • Hosting or helping hosting event
  • Communicate via Email blasts, digital marketing, events, social media savvy.
  • Working Quarry Walk events and helping set up.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
