About The Position

The Lease Administrator is responsible for managing lease administration services across multiple client portfolios within a managed services environment. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of lease-related obligations while delivering high-quality service to diverse clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting and can effectively balance competing priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in lease administration or corporate real estate
  • Experience with international lease agreements preferred
  • Experience supporting multiple portfolios or clients is preferred
  • Strong understanding of lease terminology and commercial real estate practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and lease administration systems (e.g., MRI, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Review, abstract, and interpret lease agreements, amendments, and related documents across multiple client portfolios
  • Maintain accurate lease data and critical dates in lease administration systems such as TRIRIGA, MRI, Tango, Visual Lease, CoStar and Lucernex
  • Track and manage key lease terms including rent schedules, escalations, renewals, and expirations
  • Ensure compliance with lease terms and client-specific requirements
  • Partner with accounting teams to process rent payments, validate invoices, and complete expense reconciliations (including CAM, tax and insurance)
  • Serve as a point of contact for lease-related inquiries from clients, landlords, and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate training of vendors and abstraction partners
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and facilities teams to resolve issues
  • Prepare reports and provide insights to clients regarding lease obligations and key portfolio metrics
  • Create or update SOPs and other process documentation
  • Support lease audits by gathering and validating documentation
  • Identify discrepancies and proactively recommend solutions
