About The Position
The Easton Area School District is recruiting for an anticipated Learning Support, Secondary position at Easton Area High School for the second semester of the 2026–2027 school year. The position is a long-term substitute role in mid-level subjects. The successful candidate will provide evidence of a strong academic record, excellent educational references, and related experience; demonstrate knowledge of current educational research; and successfully complete a series of interviews and meet all local requirements. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. External applicants must submit a complete application packet electronically through the District’s applicant tracking system. The packet includes a Pennsylvania Standard Teaching Application, letter of interest, resume, three current letters of recommendation dated within one year, a copy of the teaching certificate, and college or university transcripts. Internal candidates need only submit a letter of interest electronically. The successful candidate must provide an Act 34 Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check, Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, and Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
