Learning Solutions Architect II (Digital)
About The Position
The Learning Solutions Architect II (Digital) supports Digital Talent Development through creative content development, HCM Learn administration, knowledge sharing, and training aligned with Digital strategic priorities. The role supports leaders and business partners in identifying learning gaps and recommending learning solutions that address business-unit objectives and enterprise initiatives within Navy Federal's University learning model and enterprise strategy. The position collaborates with operational and learning-community partners to understand organizational and departmental learning needs and support strategy-focused learning. It partners with talent development professionals, the enterprise learning community, and subject matter experts to curate, validate, and develop content, learning resources, tools, and self-directed materials. The role also supports measurement of learning-solution and program effectiveness and assists subject matter experts with learning design principles, development standards, techniques, and methodologies to promote a positive learner experience and alignment with Navy Federal's strategy and culture. The role is based at one of the listed locations in Vienna, Virginia, or Pensacola, Florida, and has hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including speaking and/or presenting to groups and people at all organizational levels.
- Experience in one or more of learning science, communications, instructional design, or extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing training.
- Knowledge and experience executing HCM Learn administration tasks and responsibilities.
- Experience developing multimedia content with Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Captivate, Clip Champ, PowerPoint, or other authoring tools.
- Experience with graphic or visual design using Adobe Express or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience collaborating across teams, building relationships, and influencing team members and leadership.
- Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience conducting needs assessments and analysis for learning solutions.
- Experience measuring ROI on learning solutions.
- Experience with synchronous learning and/or facilitation for individuals or groups.
- Fundamental understanding of instructional theories, educational psychology, educational theory, tools, and resources.
- Exposure to organizational, planning, and project-management skills and knowledge.
- Exposure to compiling, organizing, and presenting findings and conclusions clearly and concisely to stakeholders and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Human Resources, business, communication, behavioral sciences, Program Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Assist in developing learning strategies, tactics, and solutions, and design and develop learning solutions and content for one or more professional development or employee upskilling programs.
- Facilitate learning solutions for professional development, employee upskilling, and other applicable areas.
- Gather data and analyze less complex data sets to evaluate training effectiveness.
- Collaborate in developing reference materials, support tools, and leader resources that reinforce strategic learning and change management.
- Stay current with industry learning best practices and technical, product, and program enhancements.
- Support multiple small-scale Division/Branch projects and programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
