About The Position

Demco is hiring a remote, territory-based sales consultant to support K–12 schools and public libraries in the Green Bay, Wisconsin area. The role focuses on building relationships with decision-makers and connecting customers with furniture and other solutions for their spaces, programs, and learners. The consultant works primarily in the field, typically traveling throughout the territory four to five days per week, and collaborates with customers and internal design and sales teams to develop accurate, inspiring proposals. The position may also involve regional tradeshows, occasional overnight travel, and helping with installations or sample deliveries. The consultant manages sales activity from prospecting through follow-up: planning outreach, making outbound calls and sending emails, identifying customer needs and opportunities, presenting solutions, maintaining CRM records, and coordinating next steps with internal teams. The role offers a base salary of $50,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications, plus uncapped commission with target annual earnings of $15,000 at quota. Demco describes the position as supporting its mission to help schools and libraries create environments where learners can discover, collaborate, and succeed.
