About The Position

BioBridge Global is a San Antonio-based nonprofit that integrates donor-to-patient services to enable the future of biotherapeutic solutions, including blood, tissue, and advanced therapies. Through its subsidiaries – South Texas Blood & Tissue, QualTex Laboratories, and GenCure – it provides products and services in blood resource management, cellular therapy manufacturing, donated umbilical cord blood and human tissue, as well as testing of blood, plasma, tissue, and cellular products for clients in the United States and international markets. It also supports the development of advanced therapies by providing access to starting materials, testing services, biomanufacturing of cell and cell-based biologics, and clinical trials support. The Learning & Development (L&D) Intern will support key onboarding and leadership development initiatives that enhance employee experience, accelerate learning, and strengthen organizational alignment. This role will contribute to two high-impact projects: the Passport to Success: New Leaders Program and the Getting to Know BBG eLearning series. This internship provides hands-on experience in instructional design, program coordination, and corporate learning strategy. The intern will gain exposure to how learning programs are developed, implemented, and scaled to support business goals.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business, Communications, or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Interest in learning and development, training, or organizational effectiveness
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Canva, and simple video editing

Nice To Haves

Experience with eLearning tools (e.g., Articulate Rise, Storyline)
Basic understanding of instructional design principles
Experience coordinating events, training sessions, or projects

Responsibilities

Partner with the L&D team to develop onboarding eLearning modules that highlight business units, industry context, key customers, and cross-functional collaboration
Conduct research and collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and organize content
Assist in drafting storyboards, scripts, and module content
Build and format learning content within the LMS or authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise)
Support content review cycles, incorporating feedback and ensuring accuracy
Maintain organized documentation of content and development progress
Support planning and coordination of leadership development sessions
Prepare training materials, presentations, and participant resources
Track attendance, participation, and program progress
Assist with communication to participants and stakeholders
Collect and organize participant feedback and evaluation data
Provide recommendations for program improvements based on feedback and observations
