About The Position

This internship offers a hands‑on opportunity to turn what you’re learning in the classroom into real‑world training resources with meaningful impact. As a Instructional Design and Facilitation Intern, you’ll build practical skills in instructional design, e‑learning, and collaboration while working on projects that support people and purposes worldwide. You’ll gain valuable professional experience, mentorship from experienced leaders, and a portfolio of work that prepares you for a career in learning, development, or human resources. This internship is designed to run for up to 12 months, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Captivate).
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • The Intern is expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines, work in harmony with other people, take direction on each assignment, and give full attention to detail.
  • Independence in working, tact, and diplomacy are required.
  • Sound judgment of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy and protocol are also expected.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master’s degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Design and develop learning materials, including manuals, e-learning modules, presentations, videos, and other multimedia resources. Ensure all training content is engaging, clear, and aligned with adult learning principles.
  • Collaboration and Facilitation: Work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and validate content accuracy. Collaborate with facilitators to ensure seamless delivery of programs.
  • Technology Integration: Integrate technology and multimedia elements into training materials to enhance the learning experience. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in training and development.
