About The Position

Intertek is seeking a Learning Consultant for its People Assurance team. The role provides client training on the functionality of the Alchemy platform, helping manufacturing workforces manage employee training assignments. The position is remote, requires applicants to reside in and be legally authorized to work in the United States, and involves travel at least 70% of the time. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Learning Consultant delivers training at client locations and online, assesses client training needs, and supports the team’s customer-facing training materials and processes. The role also includes documenting observations from onsite visits and responding to client calls and emails. The stated salary range is $65,000–$70,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Requirements

Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office product suite.
At least 3 years of adult teaching experience, virtually and/or in person.
Task and time management skills in learning and development projects.
Professionalism and a customer-service orientation.
Working knowledge of adult learning theories.
Problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Travel experience, including booking, planning, and decision-making for domestic and international travel.
Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
Must reside in and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or Education.
Experience in the food industry or food manufacturing.
Instructional design experience, including developing learning activities, job aids, and other learning materials.
Project management skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
Experience and practical use of learning management system (LMS) technologies.
Technical writing experience.
Bilingual ability; French, Spanish, German, Thai, or Polish is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Travel to client locations and host online sessions to deliver Alchemy product training.
Submit training trip reports highlighting key observations during onsite client visits.
Respond promptly and professionally to calls and emails from clients.
Work with the Learning Consultant team to maintain customer-facing training help documentation, presentation decks, emails, and training processes.
Assess client training needs for training days and provide timely feedback to team leadership.
Use sound judgment and decision-making when working with customers, team members, and other departments.
