The LEAN / 6 Sigma Process Improvement Coordinator is a shift leader with a dedicated focus on LEAN continuous improvement. Most of the week is spent leading fast-paced restaurant shifts alongside the team, while also owning an analytical process-improvement area. The coordinator applies LEAN Six Sigma principles to identify and eliminate waste, streamline employee movement, and improve shift systems in a high-volume restaurant environment. The role combines front- or back-of-house shift leadership with structured observations and audits. It focuses on reducing unnecessary motion and waiting, improving standard-work compliance, mapping employee movement during peak periods, and identifying practical adjustments to station layouts and equipment placement. The coordinator shares direct observations, waste metrics, and process solutions with the Operations Director.
