About The Position

Juniper is seeking a Leadman - Install to join its installation team. The role works alongside a landscape construction and installation crew and assumes temporary supervisory duties when the foreman is absent. It is a development role toward becoming a Landscape Construction Foreman. The position performs landscape installation and construction work, including planting, sod and hardscape installation, irrigation work, and moving materials. The job is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Requirements

Supervisory experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience with landscape construction projects.
Knowledge of landscape plants, grading, sod installation, drainage work, and irrigation.
Ability and willingness to work for long periods outside in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Ability and willingness to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to use hand tools and power equipment needed for landscape construction projects.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Plant trees, shrubs, and flowerbeds.
Lay sod.
Install pavers, stone walls, and other hardscape projects.
Install mulch.
Install irrigation and sprinkler systems.
Dig trenches and holes.
Prepare soil areas for plantings.
Hand-water plants and other landscape areas.
Move soil, equipment, and materials.
Lead and direct the crew as needed, including covering temporary supervisory duties during the foreman’s absence.
Use hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to perform landscape installation and construction duties.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
