About The Position

AO is expanding and seeking motivated professionals to join our Remote Leadership Development Program. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want to build valuable client-service and sales experience while developing the skills needed to progress into training, mentorship, team leadership, and management opportunities. You'll begin by learning the business from the ground up—working directly with clients, understanding their needs, and helping families evaluate available insurance benefits. As you demonstrate consistency and results, you'll have opportunities to take on additional leadership responsibilities. No prior insurance or management experience is required. We provide structured training, licensing guidance, mentorship, and ongoing leadership development.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Be physically located within the United States
  • Have access to a computer or laptop
  • Have webcam and microphone capability
  • Maintain reliable high-speed internet
  • Have a quiet, professional workspace
  • Be comfortable using Zoom and virtual communication platforms
  • Be willing to complete required training
  • Hold or be willing and eligible to obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License

Responsibilities

  • Conduct professional Zoom and phone consultations
  • Connect with clients seeking information about available benefits
  • Identify individual and family protection needs
  • Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options
  • Conduct needs-based benefit reviews
  • Recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Guide clients through applications and enrollment
  • Build long-term client relationships
  • Provide ongoing policy and client support
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Follow company procedures and applicable state requirements
  • Mentoring newly licensed representatives
  • Assisting with onboarding and development
  • Supporting virtual training sessions
  • Helping newer representatives succeed
  • Helping representatives strengthen client-service skills
  • Coaching communication and presentation techniques
