About The Position

The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) is seeking a Leadership Programs Manager to oversee the successful implementation of leadership development and organizational projects. This role involves program management, committee and volunteer coordination, and support for the Executive Director. The position provides project management and administrative support across various assemblies and committees, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with organizational goals. The AAAAI is a professional medical society dedicated to advancing the knowledge and practice of allergy, asthma, and immunology, with over 7,000 members worldwide. Its work includes publishing scientific journals, hosting an annual meeting, providing continuing medical education, advocating for physician practice, funding research, and offering resources for clinicians and the public.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and management for the Leadership Institute, which enhances member growth, development, and success through a Course, Mentorship Program, and Ambassador-Level Leadership Development Program.
• Partner with other AAAAI constituency groups to promote leadership offerings.
• Provide direction and management for the New Allergist/Immunologist Section and Allied Health Section activities and programs.
• Manage additional committees as assigned.
• Schedule conference calls, assist with agenda development, take minutes, assist with projects, maintain accurate files, and draft letters for all assigned committees.
• Provide administrative support to the Executive Director.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
