About The Position

Mustang Cat is seeking driven, motivated, high-potential individuals for its Leadership Foundations Program, a leadership development program designed to prepare future leaders within the organization. The immersive 18–24 month program offers hands-on experience, professional coaching, operational exposure, and rotational assignments across multiple business divisions, including Power Systems, Service, Rental Services, SITECH, Parts, and Sales Administration. Participants work alongside experienced leaders to develop operational knowledge, leadership capabilities, and business acumen in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The program provides real-world operational leadership experience, exposure to multiple business divisions and career paths, interaction and mentorship with executive leaders, professional coaching, and opportunities for long-term career growth within Mustang Cat. Participants also gain experience with Caterpillar products and solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

Interest in the heavy equipment, construction equipment, industrial power, or equipment rental industries.
Previous leadership, internship, project management, or team-based experience.
Experience working in industrial, construction, manufacturing, or technical environments.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Responsibilities

Gain an operational understanding of Mustang Cat’s business, product lines, and customers.
Participate in rotational assignments across multiple departments and business units.
Complete daily responsibilities within assigned operational areas.
Develop leadership competencies through structured coursework, mentoring, and coaching.
Receive personalized one-on-one coaching and mentorship from experienced Mustang Cat leaders.
Build strong relationships with employees, leadership teams, and customers.
Participate in lunch-and-learn sessions led by Mustang executive leadership.
Support projects and process improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
Deliver professional presentations about development progress, project successes, and lessons learned.
Collaborate with fellow program participants and departmental teams to achieve operational goals.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, teamwork, customer experience, and operational excellence.
