About The Position

The Leadership and Organizational Development Consultant I supports the design and development of learning, culture, change, and performance-related initiatives. Using consulting skills, the Consultant I partners with caregivers and leaders to clarify problems, assess needs, and develop data-informed solutions that align with organizational goals and include clear objectives and measurable outcomes. The Consultant I applies project management skills to plan resource requirements and implementation timelines. This Consultant I uses learning and facilitation skills and may be responsible for developing needs assessments and program evaluation tools (Kirkpatrick Levels 1 and 2) for learning and consulting efforts. The Consultant I works with teams, HR, and partners enterprise-wide to diagnose needs and collaborate on team and/or leader engagement solutions. They perform basic-level organizational development work to improve team collaboration, work processes, and workflow efficiency, using structured processes and problem-solving approaches. The Consultant I also supports large, enterprise-wide projects affecting a variety of service lines. These projects often involve changes to workflows, roles, technology adoption, or ways of working.

Requirements

  • Experience with organizational change, especially helping teams adopt new processes or improve how work gets done including the adoption of new technologies such as AI and automation
  • Exposure to work design principles, human factors, process mapping, task analysis, and workflow improvement tools
  • Exposure to evaluating contextual factors such as physical layout, team dynamics, climate, and technology and its impact on design
  • Exposure to automation, digital tools, or AI‑enabled changes to work
  • Experience managing small projects independently
  • Comfortable facilitating meetings and conversations with executive leaders and teams
  • Strong communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal
  • Ability to network and build executive level relationships and influence in a large complex organization
  • Basic understanding of instructional design

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Education, or a related business field. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
  • Prior experience in the design and development of learning opportunities.
  • Prior experience in project management.
  • Prior experience in routine organizational development work.
  • Experience applying a consultative approach to diagnose needs, define problems, and co-create solutions with leaders or teams.
  • Experience participating in workflow improvement, process redesign, or continuous improvement efforts (e.g., process mapping, system or workflow redesign).
  • Familiarity with using basic data, metrics, or assessments to inform decisions, evaluate outcomes, or support change efforts.
  • Certifications per area of expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with assessments of needs and co-creating solutions.
  • Implement initiatives in support of workflow design, change and adaptations, decision making, and culture.
  • Plan and facilitate learning, workshops, and conversations that help leaders and caregivers understand work design, systems thinking, navigate change, and participate in cultural initiatives
  • Leverage, assessment, AI, design thinking, human factors, change science, and adult learning to build individual, team and organizational capabilities.
  • Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable tools, job aids, graphics and learning materials that support adoption and clarity
  • Partner with cross-functional consultants, leaders, and teams in a large, matrixed organization to implement change, culture initiatives, and technology-enabled solutions
  • Help coordinate large projects, lead small projects independently, track progress, and support implementation of deliverables
  • Bring a strong collaborative mindset to everything you do
  • Continuously learn with and from experienced consultants, work on meaningful enterprise initiatives, and build skills in work design, learning, and change, including exposure to AI and automation, while helping teams do work more efficiently.
