About The Position

The Leader - Clinic Service Representative at Henry Ford Health supports patient registration and clinic service operations at the Family Medicine clinic in Fraser, Michigan. Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Experience as a Clinic Service Representative.
Demonstrated excellence in utilizing HFHS EHR.
Excellent work quality and quantity.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to perform calculations and complete forms.
Basic computer skills, including navigating software and email.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and ages.
Dependable and punctual, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

Follow standard operating procedures for patient registration, including face-to-face check-in and check-out.
Perform preregistration, insurance verification, and cash collections.
Reconcile patient charts and manage patient discharge processes.
Serve as a resource for Clinic Service Representatives and assist with new hire training.
Discuss patients' general financial responsibilities and connect them with the Customer Service Center.
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions, supporting patients and clinic staff.
