About The Position

The Lead oversees an assigned warehouse team and area to help ensure operations run smoothly and customer orders are completed accurately and on time. The role includes coordinating employee workloads, training and coaching team members, maintaining inventory and work records, supporting warehouse management, and promoting customer service, safety, and a clean work environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The posted hourly pay rate is $25.50 for jobs performed in Ohio, and the role may also be eligible for an hourly shift differential.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23 feet or more.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
• At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team, provide developmental opportunities, and recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
• Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain appropriate work documents.
• Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment in adherence to the 7S program.
• Work safely to protect yourself and team members.
