About The Position

The Lead oversees an assigned warehouse team and area to keep operations running smoothly and help provide exceptional daily solutions for customers. The role supports warehouse management and is responsible for operational processes, inventory accuracy, timely and accurate order completion, employee task assignments, training and coaching, customer service, and compliance with company policies and safety procedures. The job is offered on one of two Monday–Friday day-shift schedules: 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• At least 1 year of SAP experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and more than 75 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to operate a reach truck or cherry picker at heights of 23 feet or more.
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
• At least 1 year of experience as a supervisor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and complete orders accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team, provide developmental opportunities, and recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
• Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain appropriate work documents.
• Establish, maintain, and promote exceptional customer service.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment in accordance with the 7S program.
• Work safely to protect oneself and team members.
