About The Position

The Lead role at the Manawa location provides support to the Oatmeal Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. This full-time role pays $29.87 per hour plus applicable shift differential. Core hours are 9pm -6am, Sunday - Thursday, but can vary based on production needs.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written
• Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus
• Ability to use a computer for documenting production information and printing paperwork

Responsibilities

• Communicate with team members, supervisors, and management to share information and receive instructions.
• Learn and assist with production equipment, help cover for team members during absences, and train new employees as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records, complete reports, and support continuous improvement projects.
• Monitor team performance, adjust work assignments, and ensure materials and equipment are available for production.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized following 5s and Lean standards and handle basic data entry and clerical tasks.
