A Lettershop Lead Associate for JSM will be responsible for performing and overseeing all the necessary tasks to have a successful shift by facilitating optimum production output and fostering company policies and procedures. An individual in this role will be required to work as part of a team to uphold operational standards, identify developmental needs of others and implement solutions, cultivate constructive & supportive relationships. This role involves providing resources, knowledge, feedback, and a suitable work environment for team members to excel. The Lead Associate will confer with supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within and between departments, give starting turnover to the next shift, and communicate via log book and face-to-face. They will establish working relationships with other departments and advise supervisors and management on workforce status, contacting them or Human Resources for associate concerns. The Lead Associate will provide assistance to Lettershop Machine Operators by staffing machines, driving productivity, ensuring materials and job instructions are available, responding to machine lights to resolve issues, ensure material flow, address quality concerns, cover breaks, and ensure finished pallets are removed. The role also involves ensuring quality control procedures are followed, production goals are met, resolving material issues, reporting unsafe conditions, supporting the Supervisor, leading Saturday overtime days, locating and pulling RTMs for Client Services, ensuring machines have necessary documentation (job instructions, tray tags, pallet flags), printing these as needed, ensuring machines are stocked for the next shift, welcoming new employees, and promoting company values and culture.
