About The Position

The Warehouse Shift Lead is responsible for all warehouse shift functions, including shipping, receiving, and product put-away operations at Suja Life. This role ensures proper data flow through the Suja Warehouse Management ERP system NetSuite and RF Smart by utilizing reporting functions to monitor, adjust, and/or complete transactions. The Shift Lead will also work closely with the Inventory, Procurement, and Logistics departments with scheduling and ensuring balanced, efficient day-to-day operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in warehouse environment.
  • 2+ years forklift operating experience.
  • English fluency mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude in dealing with staff, coworkers, and supervision as well as directly with buyers/customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple supervisors and teams operating 3 shifts, 7 days a week.
  • Comfortable with Microsoft product i.e.: Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt well to change direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Familiar with the process of moving goods packed on pallets or in bins amongst the facilities.
  • Experience with storage bays, racking systems, following inventory control, and FIFO procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as a team mentality.
  • Must be agile and quick to respond to changes and the needs of team members and/or the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Self-motivated, personable, strong attention to detail and follow-up.

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual Spanish fluency preferred.
  • 2+ years warehouse/inventory management experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse workers to achieve productivity goals.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishment.
  • Coordinate and oversee the receiving, storage, and shipping of products.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Generate and analyze reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels.
  • Use of Forklift as needed to support the team.
  • Communicates warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements. Ensures staff meets requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to prescribed QMS, GMPS, and SOP processes.
  • Ensures planned KPI’s efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
  • Perform data entry to complete transactions in a timely manner.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions related to safety, equipment operation, and daily work assignments.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Other duties not listed here may be assigned by the supervisor/manager.
