About The Position

U.S. AutoForce, a division of U.S. Venture, Inc., is an industry leader in the distribution of tires, undercar parts, and lubricants with over 100 years of experience. This role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, operating industrial vehicles, and performing backup driver duties. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm or until work is completed, with potential for schedule changes and mandatory overtime during peak seasons (September through December). This position also requires providing outstanding customer service as the "face" of the company during delivery routes.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • 1 year of professional driving experience (cube van, box truck, or semi).
  • 1 year of warehouse/logistics or relevant experience.
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks (forklifts) and high reach lifts.
  • Pass a forklift certification test.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test (does not test for THC/marijuana).
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain one.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship.

  • Satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, and stock tires and auto parts using industrial vehicles like forklifts or picker equipment.
  • Use scanners for inventory control, including finding and putting away tires.
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds.
  • Perform team lifts or use mechanical equipment for commercial tires.
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires.
  • Work safely at heights up to 25 feet while operating equipment.
  • Be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Work overtime as needed, including mandatory overtime during peak seasons.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and adhere to all safety policies and operating procedures.
  • Onboard and train new hires.
  • Support Operation Leaders in guiding team members.
  • Assist with managing inventory through cycle counts.
  • Perform inventory control tasks such as adjustments, returns, and addressing shortages.
  • Assist with e-commerce and will-call orders as needed.
  • Perform backup driver duties, driving a box truck or van on routes with 10-20 deliveries per day.
  • Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries.
  • Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled.
