About The Position
Wesco is hiring a Lead Warehouse Associate (also described as a Lead Associate in Operations) at its distribution facility. The role assists the Supervisor in directing associates’ work and assigning tasks, and performs warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting. The position may perform supervisory responsibilities when assigned and supports safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of warehouse operations experience.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Senior Warehouse Associate or in a similar role.
- Forklift experience.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Supervisor in directing the work of associates and assigning jobs.
- Perform supervisory responsibilities when assigned.
- Perform receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and wire cutting.
- Monitor workflow metrics and coordinate reporting to and from management.
- Conduct daily safety walks and communicate findings to Supervisors.
- Review complex shipments and staged goods for quality before shipping.
- Update monthly fuel service charges and shipping cost documents.
