About The Position
The Visual Merchandising Lead partners with store management and the District Visual Manager to execute the store’s visual merchandising and display strategy. The role helps model and coach visual team routines and disciplines that maximize productivity, achieve visual standards, and keep the store an inspiring neighborhood destination. The Lead supports seasonal floorsets, daily store disciplines, inventory and supply coordination, associate productivity, payroll and workload planning, and talent development. The role also provides onboarding and visual training, prioritizes customer needs, follows safety and company policies, and performs projects assigned by management.
Requirements

Nice To Haves
- 1–3 years of retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in home-related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred; specialty retail experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead visual merchandising and display; partner with the General Manager and District Visual Manager to map, plan, and execute floorset timelines and seasonal strategy.
- Lead and maintain daily routines for markdowns, promotions and signage, replenishment, and recovery.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and District Visual Manager on adaptations or substitutions to directives based on store ownership, layout, or customers.
- Analyze reporting to identify opportunities to improve profitability and results.
- Communicate inventory needs to the District Manager and distribution in partnership with the General Manager to increase sell-through, maximize margin, and improve profitability.
- Partner with the General Manager on associate productivity and performance related to visual standards.
- Maintain organization of visual supplies and signage and communicate supply needs to the General Manager.
- Partner with the General Manager to ensure effective payroll utilization and workload planning.
- Partner with the General Manager to assess, recognize, and motivate talent.
- Support associate onboarding and facilitate visual training and skill-building activities for the visual team as needed.
- Model genuine and enthusiastic interest in customers and prioritize their needs by connecting them with available Design support.
- Follow safety, security, injury, and emergency policies and procedures.
- Comply with company policies and procedures.
- Help maintain an environment where associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect, consistent with the People First Philosophy.
- Perform projects and assignments as directed by the management team.
