About The Position

Greenwich Veterinary Center is seeking a Technician Supervisor to lead and inspire their veterinary technician team. This role is crucial for the day-to-day operations of the hospital, focusing on guiding, mentoring, and developing technicians while ensuring the highest level of patient care. The position combines hands-on technical work with strategic team leadership, supported by the Practice Manager and Medical Director.

Requirements

3+ years of experience as a veterinary technician
Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
Experience in a General Practice setting with appointments and surgeries
Proven leadership skills with a passion for team building and mentorship
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to stay calm under pressure and lead by example in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Credentialed technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Provide strong, positive leadership and foster a collaborative team environment
Oversee the daily workflow of the technician team to ensure efficiency and quality care
Mentor and train new and existing team members, supporting skill development and growth
Assist in scheduling, performance reviews, and team evaluations
Collaborate closely with veterinarians and hospital leadership to implement best practices
Maintain a high standard of patient care and client communication
